About

The Spärck AI scholarships will provide full funding for master’s degrees at nine leading UK universities offering AI and AI related courses. Set to rival the likes of globally recognised Rhodes, Marshall and Fulbright scholarship, students from the UK and abroad will join an elite cohort supported by partnerships with leading UK AI companies.

The University of Cambridge MPhils participating in the program with their host Departments are:

  • The MPhil in Data Intensive Sciences hosted by the Department of Physics
  • The MPhil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence hosted in the Department of Engineering
  • The MPhil Advanced Computer Science hosted in the Department of Computer Sciences
  • The MPhil in NeuroAI and Intelligent Systems hosted in the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit
  • The MPhil in Human-Inspired AI hosted in the Centre for Human Inspired Artificial Intelligence
  • The MPhil in Ethics, Data and Algorithms hosted in the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence 

All applicants who applied to one of the above programmes prior to the funding deadline for their course will be automatically considered and do not need to submit any additional information.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly by their MPhil Programme and invited to provide some additional information.

No additional information is required at the point of application to the MPhil Programme.
