Cambridge Trust Gonville & Caius Darlington Masters Studentship

The Council of Gonville & Caius College invite applications for the Cambridge Trust Gonville & Caius Darlington Masters Studentship. This Studentship has been endowed by the family of Richard Darlington and is intended to support one gifted international student from Somaliland to undertake an approved Master's course at the University of Cambridge.

The Cambridge Trust Gonville & Caius Darlington Masters Studentship is being offered in partnership with the Cambridge Trust. The Studentship will cover full University fees (overseas fee status) and maintenance. The Cambridge Trust will cover 50% of the fees (overseas fee status). The College will cover the other 50% of fees (overseas fee status), 100% maintenance costs and pre-arrival costs such as the standard student visa application fee and the NHS Immigration Health Surcharge. The value of the Studentship will be determined after considering successful candidates' income from any other sources. Students will be expected to apply for national or international studentships or other research awards for which they may be eligible.

Candidates are expected to be of outstanding academic ability. Tenure of a Cambridge Trust Gonville & Caius Darlington Masters Studentship is conditional upon the elected student being accepted for admission to the University by the Postgraduate Admissions Office (PAO).

Preference is given to those who put Caius as their first-preference college and the successful candidate must be willing to transfer college if Caius is not already their first-preference college. The award of a studentship may also be conditional upon the candidate's obtaining satisfactory results in their final degree examinations.
