Applicants are expected to have laboratory experience in tissue culture and molecular biology techniques (e.g. RNA/protein analyses). Experience in some of the areas mentioned in the project description (e.g. mouse work, organoids, CRISPR, flow cytometry, computational skills) is highly desirable. Please note that a significant part of the work will be done with mouse models of pancreatic cancer and thus working with laboratory mice throughout the duration of the PhD is an essential requirement.

The successful candidate must be strongly committed to our laboratory’s research and translational goals, as well as to our team’s collaborative and hardworking culture. They should be highly motivated to drive an independent research project, but also be a very collaborative and kind individual.
