About

In 2027, two studentships funded by a generous donation from G-Research, will be awarded to an outstanding postgraduate student undertaking a PhD within the Departments of either Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, or Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, with a preference for those working on machine learning and AI modelling. Funding is available for one Home fee status student (with UK or EU citizenship) and one Overseas fee status student (with EU citizenship).

The successful candidates will join a cohort of postgraduate students supported by G-Research across the University.

Additional career development opportunities and relationship with G-Research are offered. These include a bi-annual career mentorship meeting with a G-Research Quantitative Researcher, a place on the company’s Spring into Quant Finance Program during second year, presentation and seminar invitations, annual dinner, and brand ambassador status.
