Applicants to all MPhil programmes in the Department of Archaeology, including programmes in Biological Anthropology who apply by the central funding deadline, will be automatically considered for this award.

The department takes into account academic ability, research potential, adverse circumstances and general experience. The award will be offered to the highest ranking applicant who has not secured full funding elsewhere.
